Let’ s take a classical principle, that what the developers of ABP-Antriebstechnik GmbH thought by creating a new family of double loop couplings.
For best flexibility they use connecting elements made of Polyurethane. This is a reliablematerial and will be used in many other applications successful. By means of these connectingelements the couplings can equalize large radial, axial and angle offsets.Another positive effect is the outstanding electrical and thermal insulation.
The hubs are made of galvanized steel and have two grub screws according to DIN 916 each.The couplings may be used by temperatures from – 30 °C to + 80 °C.
There are four different overall lengths: 28 mm, 35 mm, 48 mm and 60 mm. Bores may bedelivered up to 19 mm in the largest variant. The smallest coupling highlights the possible borediameter of 10 mm. Feather key grooves and different bore diameters are available, too.
The double loop couplings are suitable e.g. for drives in the mechanical engineering andconstruction and in the measuring engineering for the drives of rotary position transducers and resolvers.
